I am “Big Hair” Dave the owner of Big Hair Productions an entertaiment and event production company. I am also a founding member of The Dubplates Reggae Band in Charleston, South Carolina. The Dubplates “Box Full Of Steel” record was Number 1 on the Billboard Reggae Charts in 2017/2018. I am partners with Kymani Marley on The Marley Cup, co-owner Of Skinful Halloween and the producer of the world largest Kiteboarding Contest The Wind Voyger Triple S. I have worked in the entertainment industry for 19 years. I graduated number 2 in my class from Full Sail University in Orlando Florida with a audio engineering degree. After college I became the head of the Audio Department at Production Design Associates / PDA. During my time at PDA I ran the audio for the 2004 G8 world summit. I ran sound for many world leaders: George W Bush, Valdimir Putin, Prime Minster Tony Blair and many more. I left PDA to focus more on music events. I created Big Hair Productions and The Dubplates. We have produced, performed and provided production for hundreds of festivals and special events internationally. Some of the awesome people we worked with Sir Richard Branson, Prince Harry, Bob Marleyʼs Children, Damien Marley, Ziggy Marley, Julian Marley Kymani Marley, Steel Pulse, WU-Tang Clanʼs Method Man, Redman, Yellowman, Cypress Hill, Mix Master Mike Of the Beastie Boys, Flavor Flav, Third World, Lee Scratch Perry, 2 Chainz and The Roots from the Tonight Show.
